• WHAT? You are invited to our 1st Annual Summer-Kickoff Dirt-n-Gravel Ride and Sausage Festival. 
• WHEN? It’ll be on Sunday June 23rd, with a 9AM start for a lunchtime finish.  
• WHERE? Hosted by our pals Chris King at their World HQ in NW Portland. 
• WHY? Those bikes aren’t going to ride themselves. And we’ve got some great routes in mind, similar to the loops in Forest Park that we attempted during Cranksgivin’It 2017, except without cold, rain, and mud. If you’re thinking “they’ve gone and removed all the suffering and misery!”, think again! We’ve retained multiple unreasonably steep climbs.  Expect short (20mi, 2000′) and long (30mi, 3800′) options. Cross and Mountain bikes will be good choices. 
• AGAIN…WHY?? At ride’s end you can expect to be richly rewarded with delicious sausages, both meaty and meatless, lovingly prepared by CK’s staff chef. And beer, lovingly brewed by Hopworks, our new liquid refreshment partners. 
• HOW? Final details to be emailed to registered attendees the week of the ride.
• WHY the fee? We’re charging $10 per person and all proceeds benefit the American Red Cross.
