If there’s one thing we love, it’s the diversity of bikes in our “Employee Parking”, and this Kieran’s Felt Brougham is no exception. This sweet fixie has the right balance of “fast fixie” and “basket bike” all with a solid Punk Patina.
At a glance this ride looks simple, but the closer you look the more layers it has. In fact the full build spec is impressive for a bike that only has one gear, and grips that a rat gnawed on:
- Frame: Felt Brougham – Steel is real.
- Fork: ENVE carbon
- Wheels: H-Plus Son rims laced to Phil Wood high-flange hubs
- Drivetrain: SRAM Omnium cranks, Alter Chainring
- Thomson seatpost and stem
- Easton carbon bars and ESI “a rat chewed on them” grips. Seriously.
- Cadence toe straps (in purple!)
The extra knurling on the grips is surprisingly ergonomic. Also this is a fully #VEGANtrackbike. Animals might have taken away from it, but none went into it!
The wide bars and gear ratio are just begging for a fast mash across town. And who wants brakes on a bike like this? They only slow you down.
