Here at the shop we value our smooth and soulful commuter bikes. A unique frame, a clever collection of curated parts, and you can’t go wrong. Bryan’s Bianchi “Campione Del Mondo” has that formula dialed.

Details are ever so hazy, but the frame is likely a 1954 Bianchi “Campione Del Mondo”. It was originally procured from the Community Cycling Center by a friend of Bryan’s who volunteered there back in 2001.

It required a very specific headset that Bianchi only used for 4 years, after searching around Bryan and his friend decided to visit Sellwood Cycle (Bryan didn’t work here at the time), and amazingly Erik pulled out the headset making the bike finally usable.

Ultimately Bryan’s friend later moved to the East coast and gifted the bike to him. He decided to rebuild the bike from a road bike into the city cruiser it is today.
