There is always a magical element to the ways in which our consignment inventory morphs and fluctuates.  Strange, unexplainable things seem to happen, like how we had two 1989 Specialized Rock Combos (a rare drop-handlebar 26″ wheel bike made for one year in 1989) simultaneously for sale a few weeks ago.

In this vein, we thought it would be worth pointing out that we currently have a total of five Litespeed titanium bikes in the shop.  3 road bikes, a mountain bike commuter, and a triathlon bike make up the total.  Titanium frames are stiff, light, and have excellent longevity, making them a great choice for a range of applications.  That being said, they’re quite labor intensive and expensive to manufacture.  Thats where our consignment inventory shines, with a range of titanium bikes selling for under the price of a new titanium frame itself.

Below are a few shots of each bike with a short description and a link to the consignment page:

The first is a 56cm Litespeed “Classic” road bike, set up with a Shimano Dura-Ace 7700 2×9-spd groupset.  It is selling for $1175

Second is this 650c, aero time-trial / triathlon machine.  The 56cm Litespeed “Blade” is set up with a Dura-Ace 7700 2×9-spd groupset, and bullhorns with aero bars of course.  We have it priced at $975.

The third and arguably most unique bike of the bunch is this mountain bike turned upright commuter.  The 19″ “Mountain Classic” was converted from it’s intended off-road usage to a killer city bike, featuring a smattering of top-end components such as the 9-spd XT drivetrain, Chris King / Mavic 717 wheelset, Sykes wooden fenders, etc…  This bike is going for $1500.

And finally, the most modern of all the Litespeeds we have in the shop, is this 56cm Litespeed Firenze road machine.  The bike features Dura-Ace 7800 2×10-spd components, and Mavic Cosmos wheels. It is a 2005 model, and is selling for $1675.

Keep your eyes on our consignment page as there’s quite a bit of magic going around here.  Who knows what’ll come in next…
