If you’ve been paying attention to the bicycle media, you may of heard of a new mountain bike wheel standard that’s been gaining some steam. 650b looks like it’s here to stay, and we’re stoked on that. Over time, bike manufacturers will release new frames, wheels, forks, etc to take advantage of this new market, but if you’re a diehard Kona fan, this sweet Kula Watt might be right up your alley. (That is if you’re not interested in the super sweet Explosif…)
This full carbon 26″ frame will fit 650b wheels with a “standard” tire, like the Maxxis Crossmark 650bx2.10″ of which we stock, and love.
Specs on this sweet frame:
- 135mm Standard QR rear dropout
- 1 1/8″ -> 1.5″ tapered headtube
- BB30 bottom bracket – with alloy sleeve
- 650b (27.5″) compatible
- $750 – !!!
Check out these photos below, the frame listing, or come on into the shop to check it out in person. At this price, it won’t be here for long…
