We accept “bike shop quality” used bicycles, frames, and components for sale on consignment. Turnover is brisk, so our inventory fluctuates rapidly.
We accept consignment items Wednesday – Saturday.
Serial numbers for all bicycles and frames accepted for consignment will be run through the City of Portland’s NWRAPID database. The seller must present a valid ID at the time of consignment. Per city code, all bicycles must be remain in the shop for at least 14 days after the date of arrival. The seller retains the right to pick up their bicycle at any time after the 14 day period but prior to sale of the bicycle. Listing prices are agreed upon by Sellwood Cycle Repair and the seller.
We do not list bikes or frames on our website while they are in the hold period. The soonest that bicycles and frames will appear on the site would be at least 14 days after it is accepted. Depending on the amount of consignments we currently have, it may take an additional two to three days for processing. Thanks for your understanding in this!
Sellwood Cycle Repair assumes responsibility for the bicycle while on consignment.
Sellwood Cycle Repair reserves the right to reject any bicycle. We do not accept recumbent or BMX bicycles on consignment.
